The Laramie River series fly rods

The Laramie River is a small river by most standards. Most of the river is on private land with some very nice public access points.
A good deal of the river is excellent trout waters consisting of small riffles or sandy bottom deep pools.
The banks are generally undercut and covered with willow maintaining ample cover and food source.

These fast action rods are made of the highest quality graphite blanks. The fast action makes these the premier choice for small brushed lined streams and ponds. The fast action of these rods make windy days no challenge. Utilizing a high modulus graphite makes the sensitivity of the tip delicate enough to make the smallest trout or pan fish feel like the fight of a german brown. Beginning fisherman will find this series easy to learn to cast accurately and advanced fishers will enjoy the excellent nymphing action alike.

The North Platte River Series

The North Platte River. Home of the "Miracle Mile". This river is a Major part of Wyoming.
Starting in Colorado it flows as headwaters through central Wyoming cascading its way through the Medicine Bow National Forest.
This section is loaded with rapids, riffles and flats that hold huge numbers of enormous trout.
Several other rivers converge on this river before it opens up into the Seminoe Reservoir.
Next on the river is the famous Miracle Mile.
Many Angles find themselves on this section for the chance
of a lifetime trying to catch the 30"+ german browns the frequent the fly lines.

Delicate presentations and long casts are a piece of cake with these medium action fly rods. The progressive action of these fly rods let you feel the rod load and unload as you throw the tiniest flies and lightest fly lines yet larger lines light onto the waters surface with no disturbance at all.  These rods are fabulous for roll casting and mending the floating lines. Picking up 20 yards of line makes even the beginner look like and expert with the greatest of ease and experts find the flexibility far greater then that of the more expensive rods.

The Encampment River Series

The Encampment River is a world of it's own. It starts out as these fantastic beaver ponds way up on the flats in the Laramie Peaks area.
Then it suddenly gathers itself into this tiny stream that runs like a rocket to the moon down this beautiful valley where it meets the North Platte River. The brookies in the beaver ponds are a blast to catch with a fight like a world class boxer.
Now to get that tiny adams into the pond without disturbing them... One little flick with a good stiff rod against the wind and its there.... Slurp, the fly is gone and the fight is on.
Now lets move down stream, the tree's are thick, the river is narrow and fast, the water is crystal clear, no room for a mistake here.
Tie on a #18 olive pheasant tail and step on in.
No real casting so to speak of, just a lift of the rod and a flip of the wrist and follow it down stream into that rainbow's mouth.
Now that's fishing.

The fast action of the Encampment Series rod give you perfect control on those hard to handle or problem waters. Short cast's or casts into the wind are what this rod is designed for. The sensitive tip makes nymph fishing a real dream feeling even the minute tugs and jerks of the fly line. Weather you prefer a short rod or a long rod you will love the feel of the finest cork handles and lightest real seats used on these fly rods. Try one on your favorite problem waters.
